Ryuichi Sakamoto’s overdubs were originally created on the NEC PC-9801 computer with RCP-PC98 Come On Music software at Avic Studio, Tokyo, Japan. The sounds and sequences were digitally transferred to various floppy disks and sent to Skyline Studios, NYC, where they were realized onto multitrack tape via Macíntosh computer, Southworth MIDI interface, and Mark of the Unicorn Performer software.

The creative input of the participants on this record is gratefully acknowledged.

Tracks A1 & A4 are derived from my original score to the ballet “Rough Assemblage”, commissioned by choreographer Richard Tanner for the Pennsylvania Ballet.
Tracks A3 & B9 are derived from my original score to the Broadway production of “The Alchemedians”, commissioned by performers Michael Moschen and Bob Berky.
Tracks B5 & B6 are derived from my original score to the ballet “VII to VIII”, commissioned by choreographer Elisa Monte for the Boston Ballet.
